So, the hubs and I have a night kid free, which is VERY rare around here, and what are we doing??? I'm blogging, while he puts up the clean laundry! We're a wild bunch around here!!!
Our Christmas break has been wonderfully hectic. We used every moment to create memories. I feel like I miss so much family time during the semesters, with my time consumed by papers, reports, dissertations...well it SHOULD be consumed by dissertation. It's more appropriately consumed by dissertation procrastination :)! Anyway, you get the point! So, during this break I decided to take a hiatus from school work. I allowed myself one (and usually) less days per week to focus on school related work. Yes, I should have gotten the final draft of my dissertation proposal written. I probably should have done the academic readings that I had planned. There are many "should haves" that I will wish I had put a check mark beside. Instead of checking off the "To Do" list, I put a few checks beside the "memories made" box, and, if I do say so myself, it was the BEST choice of the holidays!! I only wish I had taken more pics to remember the occasions! These two from Joshua's school party were too precious not to share. Stay tuned for my Christmas in Pictures blog. Rather than telling you about our holiday, I'm going to post a few pics to cover all the festivities!!!
